Drive
A series of photographs of Johannesburg, made over several stays and conceived from the outset as a book. The work is a portrait of the city in transit, shaped by movement through its streets, highways, and sprawling road networks. Each image becomes a brief pause within a vast web of urban arteries and spaces that connect, but also divide, separate, and keep apart.
